OUR STORY

In the early 80's Fernando met a Pastor by the name of Victor Torres,  New Life Outreach International Richmond, VA. Immediately Pastor Victor & Fernando connected and began a life long relationship. Under Pastor Victor's mentor-ship and wisdom Pastor Fernando Cabrera launched the first daughter church of New Life Outreach International. New Life Outreach Int'l Bronx, New York began in 1988 in a small living room in the northern Bronx. What began as a small family gathering soon turned into an apartment full of people from the neighborhood anxious to hear Pastor Fernando speak about the Bible. Many lives were being transformed from this living room. In a matter of a few months we had outgrown the small living room and were ready to begin a church. Our first rental space was on White Plains Road in the North Bronx. God demonstrated his favor and filled every rental we had. In 1997 we purchased our first property on 196th Street in Morris Avenue in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx. New Life Bronx is currently servicing the community with two Sunday worship services on Sunday, Outreach Care & Small Group for every age. Along with providing the immediate community with the love of Jesus New Life also serves internationally with missionary works in Peru, Dominican Republic and Ghana Africa. New Life is presently in its brand new sanctuary size of 600 person capacity, children's church classrooms, a New Life Bronx Cafe, an overflow room, foyer and plenty more.
